The Mangrove Swamps where the the plant and animal life of a typical mangrove can be witnessed close up. This natural mangrove swamp is situated at the mouth of the Umgeni River where it enters the Indian Ocean.

Kings Park Olympic Swimming Complex:

 This complex offers two pools, an Olympic sized main pool and a second diving / water polo pool. Both are heated and thus ideal for those who need their daily swimming exercise.

Absa Park Rugby Stadium:

The home of Natal Rugby and the ever popular Natal Sharks, ABSA Park can be seen from the hotel and transport to 'big games' is available on request if you prefer not to walk the 1½ kilometres to the Stadium.

Moses Mabhida Stadium:

With its "arch of triumph", the Moses Mabhida Stadium is a defining landmark similar to Sydney's Opera House or The London Eye.

In addition to this internationally acclaimed engineering feat, the multi-disciplinary aspect of the stadium's design allows the stadium to host a wide range of sporting and cultural events, putting it on a par with other international venue' s such as the Stade du France and Wembley Stadium.
